Financial APIs Workshop
～ Japan/UK Open Banking and APIs Summit 2018 ～
Introduces cutting-edge works and efforts of "Financial APIs" especially around OAuth/OpenID Connect to developers in providing/consuming APIs
In the global movement of Open API by financial institutions, the UK government started "Open Banking" as its policy and has finished making obligatory regulations and technical standards.
In Japan, Open API movement can be observed not only in the banking industry but also in the credit card, securities, and insurance industries.
However, from the viewpoint of standardization and ecosystem structure, the movement in Japan is not enough yet. To accelerate the movement of open banking in Japan, it is worth learning the actual execution in the UK.
